An inspiring example of a commercial building that adds quality to its environment within a regular budget, with attention to employees, sustainability and public space
The wide, transparent colonnade entrance
The renewed entrance has a broad, transparent colonnade entrance that provides a view of the new courtyard designed by LAOS Landscape Architects. The colonnade is designed to connect to the column gallery of the former national archive further down the Sint Jansstraat. The colonnade has the same size, rhythm, and proportions as the column gallery. The view of the new courtyard is a lively eye-catcher that contributes to the presence of the Provinciehuis in the city.
